Recall request: the book I want is checked out, what do I do?
Answer
When a book is checked out, a patron who wants the item can place a recall request. The person who has the item checked out will get an email saying they have 14 days to return the item. If it is not returned during that time, the patron will accrue fines of $1.00 / day until it is returned.
To place a recall, sign in to your library account. Search the catalog for the title you want and click "request." You will be notified when the book as been returned and is available for you to check out.
